The best tour we booked in our whole East Coast trip. Our guide Brian was fabulous, and we visited amazing spots — often the only group there. Great snacks throughout, and a proper two-course hot lunch rather than the usual wrap. Brian made the whole day fun and engaging; I'd highly recommend the one-day waterfalls trip.
As a solo traveller who finds socialising hard, the waterfalls day ended up one of the best of my whole trip. Our guide Kye was warm and encouraging, going out of his way to include everyone even if you were nervous, and the drives through the Tablelands were stunning — we even spotted a cassowary. Happily it wasn't the drink-focused backpacker vibe I'd feared; just genuinely good fun. Do get involved with the swimming — that's the heart of the day. Highly recommend.
One of my favourite tours ever, and a huge part of that was our guide Paul. From the moment we boarded he made everyone feel welcome, learning names and creating a fun, inclusive atmosphere, and his passion was obvious. The long drives flew by with games, laughs and a great playlist, and he even joined us at nearly every waterfall. It was informative too — I was amazed how much we saw and did in a day. Good songs, full bellies, endless laughter and unforgettable memories. If you get Paul, you're in for an amazing day.

The waterfalls tour was my favourite of two trips I did with them, and our guide Michael was fantastic — fun, energetic and impossible to recommend highly enough. The places you visit are truly magical, and what sets it apart is the atmosphere: Michael kept everyone entertained between stops with games, music and karaoke, making the journey as enjoyable as the destinations. If you can, go midweek for smaller groups. Easily one of my most memorable travel experiences.

A great day with our knowledgeable guide Paul, who had a great playlist, pointed me to the best photo spots and catered to everyone. Worth knowing the day is mainly about swimming — if you're after longer rainforest walks or wildlife photography, a different tour might suit you better — but I still came away with lovely local interactions, great photos and a really enjoyable time.

A great mix of fun (games, singing, treats), adventure (waterfall swims and hikes) and information about this beautiful area — Mike even conjured up a cassowary and a rainbow to end the day. Whatever your age, if you have a sense of fun and adventure, this tour is for you.

A good swimming-focused day out, taking in a natural swimming bowl, two waterfalls and a lake. Josephine Falls has a fun natural water slide, and pretty Milla Milla Falls lets you get right under it — just be comfortable swimming in deeper water with a current. The short walk at the Boulders is a nice change of pace. Great for anyone who loves swimming in nature. (Note: 'Uncle Brian' is the company name — he's retired — and the day really comes alive with a good guide.)

We'd set our expectations low after waking to heavy rain and a stormy forecast, but our guide Brian whisked us off to some of the most gorgeous sights around Cairns. Flooding meant we couldn't swim at the first two stops, but the last two, where we could, were a real highlight, and lunch and snacks were plentiful. I did the waterfall and rainforest tour and it was amazing — highly recommend. It's a long day, with pickup around 8am and drop-off around 7pm, but you visit so many great spots and the guide is hilarious.
An absolutely fantastic time on the waterfall tour with Coco — the best guide ever: funny, friendly and an all-round good guy. I enjoyed every swimming hole, and we even spotted a cassowary and a platypus on the same day.
A really great experience on the waterfall day trip with Will, who was fantastic — very attentive, keeping everyone on the bus engaged, and full of interesting information about the rainforest, so the journeys flew by. The day was nicely broken up too, with the perfect blend of time at each spot and travel between them. We were unlucky with rain almost throughout, so bring a change of clothes just in case. An excellent experience, and Will was brilliant.

What a great trip. At 55 I worried I'd be out of place among the young backpackers, but that soon changed and I had the best time. Cousin Frankie made it — the music, the vibe and the laughs — and he was informative, knew the locations, and led everyone into the water so we all felt safe and had fun. Can't speak highly enough of him. 100% recommend for anyone a bit older but still young at heart.

I did the waterfall one-day trip and it was so much fun — a great way to meet people as a solo traveller. Our guide Courtney was lovely and super fun, and you get plenty of chances to swim and take pictures, plus lots of food. One of the highlights of my Cairns trip!

27 years ago I did this tour with the original Brian — a day that's lived long in the memory — so returning to Cairns for the first time since, with my daughter, I had to book us on it. Today 'New' Brian guided our day, and the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree. We're just off the bus after a full day of stunning scenery, good vibes, dad jokes and literally breathtaking swims in the various waterfalls. A truly amazing, well-paced day. I came as a solo traveller but met so many lovely people I ended up socialising with afterwards. Our guide Angus was friendly and upbeat from the start, keeping us engaged with a great playlist, local knowledge and entertaining stories. The slip-and-slide at Josephine Falls was a must-do, and I was glad I braved the freezing water at Millaa Millaa Falls — Angus made sure we all perfected the iconic 'hair flick'! Good lunch, plenty of snacks and hot chocolate, and great value. One of the highlights of my time in Far North Queensland.

An unforgettable Fun, Falls and Forest day with Uncle Brian's. Rachel's passion for nature and for making sure we had the best time was wonderful, and everything was perfectly paced — from refreshing swims to scenic stops — with lovely touches like bus games, pro tips for the waterfall 'hair flick', and surprise hot chocolates after a colder swim. Honestly one of the best tours I've done — can't recommend it enough.

We saw things we'd never have found on our own — amazing falls with a natural water slide, a swim behind a famous waterfall, and a swim in the bluest crater lake — plus rare wildlife including a platypus and a cassowary. I did this tour 26 years ago as a backpacker and wanted to bring my family; it did not disappoint.

My partner and I enjoyed the Cairns Waterfall and Rainforest tour with Brian, a legend who made the day really fun. He was always upbeat and keeping us entertained, sharing lots of personal stories of his time in the area, and he really looked after us — even handing out chocolate and stopping by his house to meet his cute dogs. Highly recommend; you'll be lucky to have Brian as your guide.
Couldn't recommend the waterfalls tour more, especially for travellers in their 20s. Conrad was so much fun as a guide — far and away the best tour I've ever been on.

We were a group of two, and the tour had a nice mix of solo travellers and bigger groups, so it was great for meeting people. Frankie was a fantastic guide — great fun and full of energy. There are four swimming spots, with the Josephine Falls rock slide a big highlight, and Milla Milla Falls fantastic up close. The food stops were nicely timed, and the hot chocolate at the end was a lovely touch.

Ky — our guide, host, driver and nanny all in one — was the most fun, genuine, caring and knowledgeable guide I've had the pleasure to meet. The trip round the Tablelands' most exquisite swimming holes, water slides and falls was amazing, never skimping on time at any spot. The bus was in great condition, and all the snacks and lunch were excellent and filling. No crocs or platypus this time, but we did see turtles, spiders and a cassowary. If you're lucky enough to have Ky as your guide, you're in for a treat.

The waterfall day trip was fantastic! Despite a few hassles — including a flat tyre — our guide Trent was incredible, and the four locations, from jumping off rocks into a river to swimming behind a waterfall and a lake, were beautiful. People think of the reef when they think of Cairns, but don't miss the incredible mountains, rainforest and waterfalls. I'd book another Uncle Brian's tour in a heartbeat — the staff make it so fun and the locations are incredible.

Honestly the best tour we've been on for any holiday. Our driver-guide Ky was knowledgeable, engaging and kind, and everything was thought of — lunch, snacks, bathroom breaks — so we just had to get on the bus and go. What a day! I did the Fun, Falls and Forest day trip and it exceeded all my expectations. Our guide Conrad was incredible, with valuable knowledge and a great spirit for the whole group, and the sites were breathtaking, with refreshing swims and enough time to enjoy each spot.

It's a long day but really doesn't feel it, thanks to all the fun activities he had us doing on the drives, and we were fed and watered better than on any trip I've been on. Insane! We did the waterfalls tour with Conrad, an absolute legend who made it one of a kind, bringing so much enthusiasm and fun. We saw incredible waterfalls, had amazing food, plenty of snacks, lots of swimming and great music, and Conrad's knowledge is amazing — he never failed to answer a question. Such a fun day out and an essential part of any Cairns trip. Conrad made the day what it was, keeping the bus journeys entertaining with music, games and good vibes, and making sure we all got that perfect 'hair flick' photo. Seeing the waterfalls, sliding down and trying to spot a platypus made it so much fun. Highly recommended.

Perfect in every way — packed with different things without feeling rushed, and with plenty of food and snacks. Our guide Conrad was a huge part of it, encouraging you to try things you were nervous about without pressure and making sure everyone got along. Any age, solo, a couple or with friends, you'd have a great time. I've done several tours, and this is one I'd highly recommend.

The waterfalls were beautiful and easy to reach, and although we didn't see a platypus, it was all so enjoyable it didn't matter. What an amazing tour. Our guide Conrad made it memorable from pickup onwards — the waterfalls were stunning, the food lovely and plentiful, and there was great banter and entertainment on the bus. Excellent value. I did a similar tour two years ago with another company, and Uncle Brian's is 100 percent better in every way. Conrad is an exceptional, passionate and knowledgeable guide who made a day with my niece one we'll always remember.

We did the full-day tour taking in Babinda Boulders, Milla Milla Falls, Lake Eacham, platypus spotting and lunch. Our guide Coco went above and beyond, with fun songs, games and treats keeping us smiling all day, and every site was stunning with plenty of time to swim and take photos. We saw a platypus, a tree kangaroo, turtles and lots of birds, and lunch was delicious with snacks and a warm hot chocolate midday. Coco's warmth, patience and fun made it extra memorable — highly recommend for a full day of exploring, swimming and animal spotting.

Our family went on the waterfall and rainforest tour and made memories to last a lifetime. Conrad was spectacular — one of those people with the rare gift of instantly putting everyone at ease — and his knowledge of Cairns and the rainforest was both informative and entertaining. Some drives are a bit long, but he kept us entertained with games and prizes so the time flew (and even navigated the bus safely through a huge herd of cattle on the road). If you want a fun-filled day swimming in beautiful waterfalls and spotting wildlife, ask for Conrad — you'll have a great time.

We loved everything from the games to the songs, but most of all the falls, and the food was plentiful and lovely, with a fall view. I got over-zealous trying to swim across a lake that turned out too deep, and Conrad swept in and made sure I could still enjoy the day despite being a weak swimmer. The most engaging guide I've met, who didn't just go the extra mile but an extra hundred — games on the bus, interesting commentary, and making sure you make it out safe. Best guide ever.
