Your Outback Journey of a Lifetime starts at 6am from Alice Springs or around 1pm pickup at Ayers Rock Airport. We enjoy a fascinating road-trip to Uluru! Once the whole group is together, we explore the Cultural Centre, do a guided walk at Uluru, and enjoy a spectacular Uluru sunset with bubbly wine. Rest with a hot shower and a wholesome meal back at camp, then it’s an unforgettable sleep under the desert stars. Includes Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2 - Ayers Rock to Kata Tjuta National Park
Early breakfast before going to Kata Tjuta for a stunning Uluru sunrise. Hike through the Valley of the Winds, and feast on a refreshing lunch. Travel through the Outback, viewing the George Gill Range and more, before camping at Kings Creek Station. Here enjoy a real Aussie BBQ by a campfire, under those beautiful stars! Includes Breakfast, Lunch, dinner and refreshments.

Day 3 - Kata Tjuta National Park to Curtin Springs
After breakfast go to incredible Kings Canyon, and hike around the famous Rim Walk. Relax in the peaceful desert oasis, the Garden of Eden. Then back to Kings Creek Station for a relax, swim, or helicopter ride (charges apply). That night escape to our private bush camp at Curtin Springs Station. Capture sunset views of Mt Conner and enjoy your final night on tour, under the outback stars. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, dinner and refreshments.

Today is an easy day as we depart Alice Springs late afternoon on a greyhound bus bound for Darwin where we arrive the next afternoon at aproximately 3:30pm.

What should I pack?
Depending on where in Australia or New Zealand you decide to visit, your luggage will vary. For exact information please visit the "What to bring" section of each tour page.
What immunisations do I need?
For the latest information on immunisations, we strongly recommend you or contact the Travellers Medical and Vaccination Centre (www.traveldoctor.com.au) to discuss health requirements for your trip. They will advise you about appropriate inoculations.
Do I need to take any medical supplies?
It is not necessary to bring any medical supplies other than any personal items you may require. Each tour will carry an first aid box and our guides are all certified in First Aid.
How much luggage can I take?
We don't have an exact policy when it comes to luggage though we just ask our customers to be mindful that we have limited space. Generally we recommend people to bring a large backpack/suitcase with all their gear and another smaller backpack to keep on the bus and hold their daily items ( phone, water bottle, towel, sunscreen etc ) and which they used to take on walks etc. If you have a lot of luggage is best to leave the things you don't need at your hotel/hostel where they will store it for free.
Where can I store my luggage whilst on tour?
During the tour your main luggage will be stored in our trailer. This trailer is always locked however we cannot guarantee the complete safety of your gear from theft or damage. This is why it is so important to purchase a good travel insurance. If you need to store your luggage whilst away on tour, this can be done through your accommodation. Most hostel and hotels will store your luggage safely free of charge.
Will I be able to do any laundry whilst on tour?
For camping tours there will be no time to do laundry. However, for longer cross country tours involving hostel or hotel style accommodation you may have the opportunity to wash your clothes.
Do I need a sleeping bag?
For all camping tours require you to have a sleeping bag. If you don't have one they may be available for hire via the "join tour" button.
How fit do I need to be?
Our tours are made to be fun, informative and active and can be enjoyed by anyone with a moderate degree of fitness and agility. Travellers should be comfortable with hiking/walking up to 5km each day.
Do I need travel insurance?
Insurance is important in protecting visitors from loss or damange of goods, medical problems, cancelation by passengers or other casualties. Its highly recommended. Some tours on this website require you to have travel insurance. If you are Australian then it is not necessary.
Can I get online whilst travelling?
For tours incorporating hostel/hotel style accommodation you may have the opportunity to use wireless internet or use of nearby internet cafe. If you have a mobile plan with internet then that should be ok except for more remote regions. This will vary from tour to tour so please contact us directly for more accurate information.
Will I be able to use my mobile whilst on tour?
You can use your mobile while touring in Australia or New Zealand, but coverage may be limited in remote areas. For best connectivity, consider purchasing a local SIM card or an international roaming plan.

Do I have to book this tour online?
Definitely not. Our website is designed to make is easy and convenient for you to schedule your tour. However we understand sometimes its nice to talk to someone directly. So by all means give us a call and we can organise your trip over the phone.
If I book more than one tour can I get a discount?
Absolutely! If you are booking multiple tours then we may be able to offer you a discount. Send us an email at info@lostinaustralia.org and let us know what you thinking of doing and we can put together a price for you.Also, be sure to look out for monthly specials on tours. We often have some great bargains.
How do I know when a tour is available?
You can check the departure dates of tours by using our calendar on the top right hand corner of the tour page. This will tell you what days the tour departs. For availability of seats please contact us directly at info@lostinaustralia.org or call us.
Can I just do a section of this tour and not the whole trip?
Unfortunately it is not possible to only do a part of the tour. Passengers generally need to stay with the tour from start to finish.However, drop off locations at the end of the tour made me negotiated.
Does the tour price include flights?
No. Tour prices do not include any travel arrangements other than for the duration of the tour itself. If you need assistance with booking flights or buses our travel team and certainly help - Just ask!
How far in advance do I need to book my tour?
As a rule of thumb we generally say AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to departure, this will usually get you a seat on the date you want. That being said, we cannot guarantee that spaces will be available at the time of your booking so, if you can, book as soon as possible. Bookings can still be made right up until the departure date of the tour if seats are available. If you know when you'd like to travel, please contact us and we will let you know if you need to book soon or if you have time.
If I make a deposit only, when will I need to pay the balance?
Balance on tours need to be paid at least 30 days prior to departure. Failure to do so could result is the cancellation of your seat with a fee charged. If you need more time to clear your balance then let us know ASAP and arrangements can be made.
Who travels with us
Is this tour for me?
Our tours are made up of small groups with a range of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds. Generally people who travel with us are between 20 and 49, though we also get alot passengers much older onboard - everyone is welcome! On tour we get equally as many males as females and everyone shares an enthusiasm for the out doors, nature, adventure and culture. Our tours are for those wanting to really explore and share the experience with likeminded travellers. Whether we are camping by a billabong in Kakadu National Park or sharing a cabin in Tasmania, our travellers want more than just a site seeing tour. They are chasing a hands on group experience. The trips are packed with many highlights and the pace can be fast. There may be some long drives and passengers should expect to help out when setting up camp or cooking food - this is a group adventure. However, there’s always time to chill out, have a cold beer ( or wine! ) and soak up your surroundings. As always, if in doubt then contact us directly with your concerns.
Cost and Fees
What does "Paid Locally" mean?
Some tours require you to pay national park fees directly, in cash, to the tour guide on the morning of departure. Rest assured this will be subtracted from the tour price when reserving your tour.
Will I need additional money?
Visitors are advised to bring some cash as ATMs and banks can be few and far between depending on where we are during the trip. Its handy to have some extra cash as we do stop by local shops and cafe.
Do I need to tip our guide?
If you had an amazing time on tour and wish to tip the guide, then that is completely up to you. However, tipping is not customary and is not at all expected.
Are there any hidden fees I need to know about?
Our tour prices are completely transparent. There are no additional fees involved that are not included in the overall tour price shown. If you wish to do optional activities such as helicopter rides or wildlife safaris, then an extra cost may be needed. However, this will always be made clear at the time of your booking.
Whilst on tour
What type of tent will I get?
Tents are generally designed to accommodate a minimum of 2 people. This means there is plenty of room to move about and store your luggage. However, most Uluru tours we try and encourage the use of swags and mattress rather than tents. This is the ideal way to camp in the centre of Australia; Around a campfire, under the stars!
What will the food be like?
Our emphasis is on fresh food wherever possible and our meals are nutritious and varied on these tours. If you are vegetarian or gluten intolerant we can cater for you, but if you have very specific dietary needs you may need to provide your own food, please discuss this at time of booking. For breakfast we supply cereals, fruits, toast, tea and coffee. Lunch is usually a self-serve picnic sandwich and salads; in the evening we have a cooked dinner - This can vary between pastas, bbqs, rices and other hearty food to keep you energized! We always carry water in the vehicle and you will often have the chance to buy your own drinks, ice-creams etc at stops. Please refer to each individual tour/package to establish which meals are included.
Can you cater of special diets?
We can certain cater for most dietary needs. Please advise us at the time of your booking so arrangements can be made. For travellers with more extreme diets we may ask that you bring along additional snacks.
Can I book extra accommodation for the start and end of the tour?
We know our country inside and out and would be happy to give you good recommodations. Please contact us for recommendations.
What form of vehicle do we use?
For our Uluru Tours we toss between a Troop Carrier 4WD Landcruise and a 4WD Mini bus. This depends on the size of the group and the amount of days we are out in the park. Each tour varies so please refer to your tour info panel on the top right hand side of the page.
Are there days where we travel for a long time?
During the first day we usually do a couple of hours driving to get out of the city and into the country side. However, once in the national parks, trips between attractions usually take between 30minutes to an hour.For tours heading up to Darwin or down to Adelaide, expect periods where we drive for a few hours at a time. Australia is enormous and the distance between towns and attractions can be quite large. But don't worry, we take plenty of breaks so your able to stretch and move about.For more accurate information please see tour itineraries.
What will the weather be like?
Between the months of April and August Central Australia is quite cold so be sure to bring warm clothing. Temperatures range from about 20c during the day right down to 2c at night.Between October and March temperature are warm, so light clothing during the day is ok. However, night times can still be quite cool so its wise to bring light winter clothing for extra warm.

We had an amazing experience doing the rock to rock tour with Mulgas Adventures. Everything is planned out to the detail. From the pickups and drop-offs to the logistics of the tour, the overall experience (including, culture, history and nature talks and time to connect with fellow tour mates) was way better than I expected. Our tour guide Liv was outstanding. She made sure everyone was having a good time and handled some small little challenges like a pro. She looked after everyone but also gave us space to do things and enjoy on our own. She's a multi-skilled, powerful superwoman! If seat back and relax is your thing, this is not for you. Early starts, taking part in chores like cooking, cleaning, collecting firewood, on top of the actual walks make the tour very active. In saying that, it's so well planned, that you always have some time to chill, either in the bus or when it's not your turn to do chores! My main concern when we booked the tour was the swag sleeping situation. I'm not a camping person and I was worried it was going to be challenging for me. I think it was my favourite part of the trip! There's something about that thick canvas bag, together with being in the sleeping bag, that makes it so cozy. And if you can't sleep, the sensation of feeling the cool air in your face while watching the stars is something I will keep in my memories forever. I would recommend this tour to anyone, and especially if you are Australian, visiting the Red Centre is something you need to do at least once in your lifetime. You only need four days! Book your flights, book a rock-to-rock tour and that's it! Mulgas will do the rest :) Thank you Mulgas Adventures and Liv! This experience will stay with us for life!

I could not recommend Mulgas any more!! Our guide Andrew was the absolute best. Hear me out: besides the usual guide stuff you would expect (great story telling skills, organisation, great driver, Jack of all trades, etc.) he was full of wonderful surprises and very helpful touches along the way. He would always let us know in advance about logistics (he carried a massive charging station for all our 25 phones to charge every night), he would recommend the cheapest place to get beers, when the next available shower was going to be, full of relevant advice and helpful tips. He’s very comfortable in the outback and made us all feel very safe all along. He knows a ton about Aboriginal folks and sounds really passionate and keen to share. He’s a very humble and genuine guy who will make your trip unforgettable, and everyone on the tour loved him. I hope Andrew stays at Mulgas for many many years! If you are lucky enough to travel with Andrew, make sure you let him know how much you appreciate his professionalism and dynamic personality.

This is a truly once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend doing the full 7 day Darwin to Uluru (or back) tour to truly experience the best of the Northern Territory. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and sleeping in swags, not having access to nice amenities the 4am wake ups (!!) etc challenged me BUT I thoroughly enjoyed it and I feel the experience of truly getting into the outback, camping spirit with different people from all over the world really strengthened the fun we had together. The hikes and sites we visited were very well organised and it was clear our tour guides Nat and Liv put in extra effort to make sure we had the best times possible. The long periods of driving on the road were broken up by regular breaks, and opportunities to visit quirky little NT roadside stops and pubs. This was a remarkable trip and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to see the highlights of the NT and make new friends along the way

I had an incredible experience on the Uluru tour with Mulgas Adventure and our guide, Tim! Everything was so well organized, and I truly appreciated how caring and attentive the whole team was throughout the trip.
One thing that really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were with everyone’s dietary needs — people who were vegetarian, gluten intolerant, or had other food restrictions always had proper meals prepared separately. That level of care made a huge difference!

Amazing experience discovering part of the Northern Territory with Mulgas, and especially with our guide Phoebe. We had seen that the tour was highly rated, but it exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Mulga’s. The hikes were stunning and we learned some interesting facts about the area and Indigenous traditions/culture.
It was a lovely experience to meet a range of other people from all over the world and work together each day to cook/clean/set up camp.
The value for money was great with everything included and all planned out for us.
The duration was perfect - enough time to see everything but not too long to be away from home/a proper bed!

I’ve been living and travelling in Australia for 3 years now and this was one of the best experiences I had. Got so lucky with the amazing group we had, we were 22 people in total, everyone between 25-30 years old and it was so so special. We had such a wonderful time with Phoebe, she’s SO caring and lovely and you can tell she enjoys her job so much you just enjoy every single part of the trip. We did the Rock to Rock tour and had a truly memorable experience. You need a certain level of fitness to do the hikes and should be okay with sleeping outside but you'll be rewarded with a beautiful experience if you commit. We had a lovely group and our guide Nat who made it a really fun time. You'll be able to take some insane pictures for Instagram as well.

You simply MUST do this tour. If you are thinking should I, shouldn't I and which company to go with...book it and book with Mulga's.
So, why is that?
We booked the Rock to Rock tour with Mulga's and could not have been looked after better by our AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, FUNNY tour guide Nat. Otherwise known as, Thank You Nat because she could not have done more for us.
Considering we had 40 degree weather...in the Outback?! Surprising ...Nat managed to keep all of our drinking water ICE cold, supplied us with fresh, cold, juicy fruit after each hike.
The hikes themselves, the views and the experience could not be topped and we have covered 75% of Australia so far and this was by far better than any other tour we have done.
I almost want to book again a nd do it next week!

Had the best time with an amazing group and leader. Experienced multiple walks/hikes, camping under the stars and trying new foods. Even when we were dealt with obstacles of extreme weather(hot&storms), everyone was patient, understanding and it just made it the whole experience more special. Nat worked around it all to ensure we had the best time and didn’t miss out on anything.

I did the rock to rock tour with our wonderful tour guide Nat. The whole experience was great from a quick and easy booking system, excellent communication from the company, and the most wonderful time in the outback. The tour goes to the most beautiful locations and includes hiking, sleeping under the stars, camp cooking, dancing around the fire and snacks galore. It was a great tour to go solo to meet some amazing people from all over the world. A big thanks to Nat, who made everyone feel at ease, she is very knowledgeable of the area, hilarious and managed to make the experience more fun for everyone in difficult weather conditions. Recently went on a trip with Mulgas for the Rock-to-rock tour and it was amazing! Not only the landscape is stunning, but our guide: Phil, was the best! (If you’re reading this, you rock, man!). I went there with my friend but we also had solo travelers, a mom and her daughter- really we all mixed and mingled so well.
If you’re thinking on joining one of their tours, I’m telling you: they are your best option and you are going to have the time of your life.

We had a small group of 13 people, all of them great people and camping with them under the stars is for sure the highlight of my travels in Australia so far. For the Uluru portion our guide was Alex, and Alice-to-Darwin it was CJ - both were absolutely phenomenal guides, full of knowledge, anecdotes and true passion about the Territory. Highlights were sleeping in swags under the stars, yummy food (yes!), crazy beautiful vistas across gaping canyons, out-of-this-world waterfalls and hidden waterholes to swim in, and outback pubs replete with appropriately weird and wonderful tales. There is no other way to describe this trip as absolutely fantastic and an amazing way to experience the Northern Territory!
We were in a group led by Rachel: the kindest guide you will ever come across! She was professional to the fullest and just the nicest and most knowledgable person. She really managed to include everybody from day one and made our little group (20 people or so) into a proper community.
All activities, from collecting firewood to hiking and sleeping under the stars were perfectly planned and gave a raw and unique feel of the outback that I don't think we could have gotten anywhere else.

Taking this trip was one of my best decisions in 2024 and a birthday present to myself! Mulgas Adventures was highly recommended by my friend, and I will keep up the tradition of recommending it to my other friends. It was a fantastic trip.
The extreme weather made the views and experience even more valuable. We saw so many beautiful sunrises, sunsets, starry skies and moonlight over the four days. I met so many lovely humans and became friends with them. Everyone was so gentle, beautiful and wonderful.
Special thanks to our best guide, James, for looking after us all the way. He is a discreet guide with a great sense of humour and is also an excellent cook and baker.

Laura was the best tour guide! We were always at the different spots before others arrived which made a huge difference as we had the places to ourselves. Laura shared a huge amount of interesting knowledge throughout the trip and has so many fun stories too!
You will experience so many breathtaking views, the photos don’t do it justice! Sleeping in swags, gazing at the outback stars next to the fire, unreal. If there’s one thing you need to do whilst travelling Australia, it is this tour.

This trip was much better than expected. I am not a camper and was a bit worried about the prospect of camping in swag tents in the bush, but it was an amazing experience and I’ll always remember it!
Our guide Alex was amazing - knowledgable, responsible and made sure we all had fun but stayed safe too. We did three hikes, one per day, and the scenery was amazing. We got up early enough to see the sunrise and be finished walking before it got too hot, which was hard when the alarm went off but we all agreed it was so worth it!
The food was also really good and vegetarians were catered for, but for meat eaters the meals were super high in protein and very tasty. There were plenty of snacks too, we never went hungry and you could manage without bringing extra snacks (although we chose to)
We had a great group of fellow travellers and Alex encouraged us all to get to know each other and we definitely did that. Id 100% recommend for solo travellers!
Pick up and drop offs were well organised and pretty flexible to people’s plans too.
This trip is amazing value for money and a perfect way to see this part of Australia! Recommended

What an incredible opportunity to visit Anangu lands and learning about the sacred places and Indigenous people - especially Uluru. Going with Muglas was definitely the right choice. It was so well organized and the early wake ups were worth the sunrises and to beat the heat hiking. You feel so accomplished after doing a 3 hour hike by 9am! The landscapes are out of this world. Alex was a fantastic guide and he made the trip so enjoyable. The facilities for showering and toilets were better than expected. The food was also great with plenty of snacks on hand. Also sleeping under the stars in the swag was so memorable. I would highly recommend going with and supporting this local tour company.

It was one of the best tours! I was honestly so surprised of how much experience you get, for your money. You get to sleep under the stars and the view is amazing! It’s also not too crowded, cause the tour looks after the time and tries to time it right. Also the hikes were totally okay even though it was 41 degrees, cause we were doing it in the morning when the sun wasn’t quite up yet.
I would totally recommend it!
Also the tourguide Ewel made it a lovely and exciting experience!

I have been traveling around Australia and this tour has been by far one of my favorite things I have done! The guide was excellent and took us to amazing locations while also educating us on the significance of the sites to the aboriginal people who lived there. The group all got along well and everyone contributed in cooking, cleaning, etc. which gave the tour a honey and interactive atmosphere. The food was also amazing! Cannot recommend this tour enough for someone wanting to experience the outback.

Really great tour, the 3 main locations are amazing and the hikes are beautiful, pickup from Alice springs was super handy with travelling on the greyhound too, Rachel was a great tour guide super friendly lots of knowledge about culture, geology and plants that was great to have in addition to the amazing views, the camping is a great aussie experience with BBQ’s and campfires and lots of opportunities to be social with good food and drinks. Tips for future travellers:
- Bring a warm beanie! It is great to sleep in as your head sticks out the swag and also for mornings around camp.
- You walk approximately 4 hours a day in the heat. It is mostly off roading, I really wouldn’t recommend doing it in trainers, get some cheap walking boots.
- Not all loo stops had loo roll, bring some with you in your bag for emergencies.
- This seems obvious but be prepared for wild animals, we had visitors from mice, dingos, roos and insects. Nothing will hurt you but just be mentally prepared.
- Some campers are snorers, I recommend ear plugs!
That’s all! I really recommend this trip. Ask for Liv as your tour guide if you can she’s great. But if you are on the fence about an outback camping adventure, book this!!!

Such a good experience, we are so glad we booked this as it felt just like that, a true experience rather than just a holiday.
We got to see so much and a highlight is the Kings Canyon walk on day three (though a highlight amongst so much cool stuff).
It's a great tour for anyone wanting to be a bit more adventurous due to the sleeping in swags, early starts and decent walks. We loved it all but this tour is definately for those who want an outdoor experience with long drops, some animals, snorers, early starts and an action packed itinerary.
The food was tasty and plentiful! Hot meals for both lunch and dinner and always plenty to go around (often seconds) and snacks too.
Our tour guide Liv was brilliant, so fun, knowledgeable and great tunes!

This was a sensational four day experience. Simon our tour guide is knowledgeable, funny, personable and made the experience so genuine and fun. The group was mixed with young people of all ages and if you’re not young it doesn’t matter you just need to be young at heart. Sleeping in swags was an experience but after seeing so many shooting stars it is absolutely worth the experience.
The food was good and catered for dietary needs, being gluten free this added peace of mind. The Kings Canyon hike, finished by bush camp sleeping made it the most memorable day. I am so glad I did this tour and recommend it anyone who is up for true Outback adventure

The outback is so special and seeing such an iconic part of Australia with so much culture and such beautiful landscapes is not to be missed.The food was great and sleeping in the swags under the best stars I've ever seen was a definately a highlight. Our guide Alex was friendly, funny and knowledgeable - which is literally everything you want in a tour guide! He made our trip fun and easy. As someone who generally does DIY trips over group tours, I cannot recommend the muglas trip enough. You can really tell they've been running these tours for years. Everything was well planned and just flowed so smoothly. Five stars doesn't feel like enough!!!

Firstly, the red centre is stunning! Uluṟu, Kata Tjuṯa and kings canyon….amazing! Secondly, but possibly most importantly our tour guide Laura was amazing! Her passion, energy and enthusiasm made the trip even better. She is a champion of the outback and her knowledge and skill is admirable.
In terms of the tour, well fed, well watered and in good hands. Expect a couple of worthwhile early starts, a swimming pool is a treat for the scorching heat days, expect to pitch in as a group to get it all done and learn a thing or two from an expert. You’ll be wowed by the scenery.

My first time visiting Uluṟu and Kata Tjuta and why have I left it so long?
I’m so happy that I chose Mulga’s. It looked great on paper and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Olivia did a spectacular job wrangling every possible type of personality (and possibly one non personality) to ensure we all came away with a fabulous and memorable experience.
The natural phenomenon of Uluṟu, Kata Tjuta and the awe inspiring Kings Canyon really speak for themselves, but the organisation of the trip, the food and the genuine helpfulness and friendliness of Olivia made it absolutely perfect. I would give ten stars if I could.

I was a bit opset with the weather forecast but the enthousiasm of Liv and her optimistic view on things made it all better and in the end the weather wasn't too bad. We saw so many nice things and learned so much about nature and culture. Thanks Liv for making this an unforgettable tour, could have easily added a few more days to it but you might have gotten fed up with us then..

This tour is absolutely amazing! I am so happy I did this, a 100% must-do in Australia. Honestly a once in a lifetime experience. Laura is an awesome tourguide with so much knowledge, but also with so many hilarious jokes, great guitarmusic en singing around the campfire and some fun games. She really made our time in the outback the best we could have. Also the tour itself was absolutely stunning. There are just no words to describe the beauty of the outback.

I loved every minute of this trip from the desert heat to the wind and rain and finally the thunderstorms over the Rock. Our guide Rachel kept us busy all the time, handled challenges with incredible calmness and led a great tour. The highlight was our spontaneous afternoon chasing waterfalls on the Rock after a beautiful desert thunderstorm. This is a once in a lifetime experience, that caters well for vegetarians and first time campers. A fantastic way to experience and enjoy the highlights of beautiful Central Australia.

I really enjoyed this tour, and I feel privileged to have seen the places I did. I never would have seen so much travelling solo. There were a few things that could be tweaked, but overall I would recommend this trip.
You cover long distances in this tour, which I actually loved. We only had nine people in our coach, which was comfortable, and even better after we discovered the on board USB charging points - no need to ration photos.
Our guide Joe was responsible, knowledgeable and ready to answer any question. There could have been a little more communication at times - e.g. initial introductions would have been good, an explanation of how the mechanical issues would affect the schedule on day one. At other times we were given detailed info about where we were going and travel times, which was appreciated.
Dinners were fantastic and vegetarians well-catered for. Plunger coffee in the mornings was wonderful. I would recommend throwing in some extra packets of biscuits for afternoon teas - I was pretty hungry a couple of times there. (Alternatively, make it clear that people should come prepared with their own snacks.) Everyone on our tour pitched in to help with food prep as needed.
Overall - you cover heaps of ground and see amazing places. Read the info and if you’re up for camping, pitching in, walking and lots of red dirt, as well as spectacular scenery, I recommend this tour.
