DAY 1: AUCKLAND TO ROTORUA
Kia Ora and welcome to your New Zealand adventure! Starting in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), we journey to Rotorua, the geothermal hotspot of the North Island. Known for its vibrant activity and cultural experiences, Rotorua offers incredible geothermal wonders. On arrival, enjoy a walk through the towering California Redwoods at Whakarewarewa Forest before settling into your accommodation for the evening.

DAY 2: ROTORUA FREE DAY

In the evening, experience the magical Geyser by Night tour at Te Puia, where you’ll explore bubbling mud pools and dramatic geysers under the stars.

DAY 3: ROTORUA TO LAKE ANIWHENUA
Leave Rotorua behind and travel to Lake Aniwhenua for a truly authentic Māori cultural experience. Enjoy storytelling, traditional crafts, and the preparation of a hāngi dinner. Learn the haka dance and participate in hands-on weaving lessons before indulging in a delicious feast. This cultural immersion supports the local community, making it an unforgettable highlight of your journey.

DAY 4: LAKE ANIWHENUA TO BLUE DUCK STATION
Begin the day with a soak at Kerosene Creek’s natural hot river before traveling to Taupō, where you’ll see Australasia’s largest lake and the roaring Huka Falls. Arrive at Blue Duck Station, a sustainable high-country farm and conservation area. Learn about the farm’s efforts to protect native wildlife while enjoying a rustic evening by the bonfire.

DAY 5: BLUE DUCK STATION FREE DAY
Spend a free day exploring Blue Duck Station’s rugged terrain. Take a 4WD eco-safari to the 'Top of the World' for incredible mountain views or hike to the Kaiwhakauka waterfall. Relax by the campfire in the evening, soaking in the station’s tranquil atmosphere. This off-grid retreat is a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

DAY 6: BLUE DUCK STATION TO OHAKUNE

This 19 km trek features stunning volcanic landscapes, emerald lakes, and dramatic craters. For those not keen on the full hike, shorter scenic walks are also available. In the evening, unwind at the cozy Powderhorn Chateau with access to an indoor heated pool.

DAY 7: OHAKUNE TO WELLINGTON
