Begin your Tasmanian journey with the vibrant sights and flavours of Salamanca Market, where you can enjoy breakfast among the bustling stalls of artisans and food vendors. Leaving Hobart, we travel to Mount Field National Park, home to some of the world’s tallest trees. Wander beneath these giants and marvel at the cascading Russell Falls. Continuing west, we stop to admire the glacial beauty of Lake St Clair—Australia’s deepest freshwater lake—before journeying through the rugged wilderness of the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. Short walks along the Franklin River and to Nelson Falls reveal the raw beauty of Tasmania’s rainforest heart. As the day draws to a close, we pass sweeping buttongrass plains and dramatic mountains before reaching Queenstown, a once-thriving mining hub reborn as a vibrant West Coast town.

Day 2: Gordon River Cruise to Tullah
Today we explore Tasmania’s wild West Coast from the water. Step aboard for a spectacular Gordon River Cruise, gliding across Macquarie Harbour to the narrow channel of Hells Gates. Visit the haunting convict ruins of Sarah Island before venturing deep into World Heritage-listed rainforest. Stroll the tranquil huon pine boardwalk and enjoy a gourmet lunch onboard showcasing Tasmanian produce. In the afternoon, we travel north to the peaceful lakeside village of Tullah. With magnificent views of Mount Murchison reflected in Lake Rosebery, it’s the perfect place to unwind in your warm, chalet-style accommodation before sharing a hearty group dinner.

Day 3: Tullah to Cradle Mountain

Day 4: Bay of Fires and St Helens
Begin the day with a refreshing walk through Cataract Gorge, a scenic reserve right in the heart of Launceston. From there, travel through rolling farmland and small townships toward the dazzling East Coast. At the Bay of Fires, stroll along the white sands, photograph the orange-hued boulders, and soak in the turquoise waters that make this one of Tasmania’s most loved coastal landscapes. End the day in St Helens, a peaceful fishing village where you can relax and breathe in the sea air.

Day 5: Freycinet National Park to Eaglehawk Neck
Today we explore the jewel of the East Coast—Freycinet National Park. Wander along secluded bays and pink granite peaks, and discover the beauty of Honeymoon Bay beneath the Hazards Mountains. A short climb to the Wineglass Bay Lookout rewards you with one of Australia’s most photographed views—a perfect curve of white sand and sapphire sea. At Cape Tourville, take in sweeping coastal vistas before we continue south toward the Tasman Peninsula, reaching Eaglehawk Neck by evening. Here, settle into your accommodation and share a relaxed group dinner in this serene coastal setting.
