Join us for a Pinnacles Day Tour exploring some of the West Coast's most stunning natural regions — a star-studded adventure of twinkling twilight and wildlife in the native wonderland of the Pinnacles.
Leave behind city life for a one-day treat to some of Western Australia's best natural wonders.
About 1.5 hours from Perth, we stop to stretch our legs and take in the views from Lancelin Lookout, home to the largest network of sand dunes in Western Australia. These gigantic snow-white dunes are a stark contrast to the glistening turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean in the distance.
Shake the sand from your shoes before we travel on to the Nilgen Nature Reserve. In a region abundant with flora and fauna, we wander through a kaleidoscope of wildflowers — banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees and kangaroo paws, all bursting with life when in season. If the flowers are hiding, we head instead to Hangover Bay, where you can dip your toes in the crystal-clear water or spot bottlenose dolphins and sea lions.
With our lungs full of fresh sea air, we journey on to Nambung National Park to witness the remarkable Pinnacles desert at sunset. Made of shells, the Pinnacles date back millions of years to when this land lay beneath the sea. They're best explored at dusk, when the crowds evaporate and thousands of limestone pillars rise eerily from the desert — watch the colours change across the rocks in a lunar-like atmosphere.
Enjoy a picnic dinner with a glass of local wine (all included) as we settle in for a spectacular natural light show. As darkness sets, marvel at the stars and planets swirling overhead, and listen to ancient stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime.

An absolutely amazing tour of the Pinnacles desert and surrounds with superstar guide Annelise. A beautiful drive with stops at Guilderton and a national forest, then the Pinnacles and ocean at sunset, followed by a picnic dinner and stargazing with Annelise's knowledgeable commentary. A truly lovely way to spend an afternoon and evening in WA - highly recommend.
This day tour covered three highlights: Moore River, the Pinnacles Desert and stargazing. Despite cloudy, drizzly weather the maze-like Pinnacles were still breathtaking, and the evening picnic was a unique experience. Our guide enthusiastically shared her astronomy knowledge, and when the clouds broke on the drive back she pulled over immediately so we could watch the starry sky appear - a stunning, moving end to the day.
Late June, my wife, daughter and I did the Pinnacles with AnnaLiese. A long but memorable day with so much to see, from the migrating sand dunes to the Pinnacles themselves. AnnaLiese got us where we needed to be, kept us hydrated and found the best photo spots, and calmly defused a seating issue. We couldn't recommend this trip and guide more highly.

An incredible and extremely well-planned tour, with a great dinner spread, a telescope for stargazing, a clean bus and a nicely paced schedule. The time at each stop felt just right and the drive never dragged. Our guide Anna was clear, efficient and knowledgeable, and even squeezed in an extra beach when we were early, and the team went above and beyond to sort out a booking problem I'd had on another platform.

It was an amazing trip!! The West Coast has the most diverse landscape I've ever seen, from red desert to turquoise bay! I couldn't believe my eyes and I felt really lucky to be able to experience it all. This adventure was absolutely perfect! Our guide Geoffrey was the kindest and most efficient! He took great care of us all, providing useful tips, helping everyone as much as he could and making sure the group got along, with great vibes. The trip felt well organized, and thanks to that, I could enjoy it fully! It is indeed a lot of time on the road to reach Exmouth, but I can tell you it is well worth it! I was travelling alone and was hesitant at first, but it is without a doubt a great option for solo travellers: the group felt like a family by the end of the week, and I really recommend it to everyone unsure about travelling with strangers. It was definitely one of the best trip I've ever experience!

From the very beginning, everything was so well organised, which made the whole journey completely stress-free. A special mention has to go to **Geoff**, whose hard work, attention to detail, and gentle, welcoming personality really made the tour stand out. He kept everything running smoothly while also creating such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
The itinerary itself was fantastic, giving us the chance to thoroughly explore the stunning coastline of Western Australia without the hassle of driving. Highlights included the breathtaking landscapes of Kalbarri National Park, the unique beauty of Shark Bay, and, of course, the incredible Ningaloo Reef. Each stop offered something different and memorable, and the live commentary along the way really enriched our understanding of the region.
Our group was made up of people of various ages, and it was wonderful how well everyone got along. There was a genuine sense of camaraderie from start to finish, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Accommodation, meals, and included activities were all well thought out, and it was great to have the option to add extra experiences if we wanted.
I have to mention that Geoff went above and beyond to make the trip memorable, even to the point of meeting me in the City when the trip was over - returning the Kindle that I left on the bus. That dedication. Sorry, I can't work out how to add photos.

This marked my inaugural tour and my first time traveling within Western Australia. I embarked on this adventure independently, and I must admit, I had some initial concerns about solo travel. However, by the second day of the tour, our wonderful tour guide Geoff and the delightful individuals in the group had completely put my mind at ease, affirming that I had made an excellent choice for myself.

“Great Trip”
The Perth to Exmouth return tour was fantastic! Our 7-day trip from June 1st was amazing, thanks to the many memorable highlights and the outstanding leadership of our tour guide, Doug. We also had the best group of warm, friendly people, which made the whole experience even more special.
Doug is a real asset to Autopia. His personality, positive attitude and caring nature showed in everything he did, especially when making sure everyone on the tour was comfortable and well looked after. He kept things organised, drove safely, did a great job with the meals, and stayed professional the whole time. His constant smile and friendly approach really made us feel like we were part of a big family, and I can safely say our whole group was very happy to have him as our guide.
Every stop and activity offered something unique and memorable. I really enjoyed the walk at Kalbarri National Park, and the 25m abseiling with Kalbarri Abseiling was such a thrill. The instructor, Cole, was great, so I would highly recommend it to anyone - no need to be nervous like I was! I’d also highly recommend the optional swim with manta rays and the whale shark tour - they were both fantastic, and I’m so glad I did them.
The Autopia booking team was also great to communicate with. Their prompt and helpful replies made the booking process easy and stress-free, which was very much appreciated.
If I had to change anything it would be to do the one-way trip option and stay longer at Exmouth, then fly back to Perth from there. There is so much more I would have loved to do there.
I enjoyed the Perth Pinnacles tour - the stargazing was amazing, and Erin delivered a fun, memorable day. It felt a touch rushed getting to dinner right after sunset, when the light is best for photos, but otherwise a great trip.

I had an amazing experience on the 7-day tour from Perth to Exmouth. The entire itinerary was extremely well organised, and everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. I especially loved how the meals were prepared with participation from the guests — it created such a warm and friendly atmosphere and helped everyone in the group bond really well.
A huge highlight of the tour was our guide, Geoffrey. He was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, energetic, and always genuinely cared about the comfort and experience of every guest. His leadership and problem-solving skills were outstanding, which helped keep the group organised and ensured we stayed on track with the itinerary. I was truly impressed by his ability to drive long distances, provide informative commentary through the microphone, cook meals, and still constantly offer help and support to everyone in the group. Geoff’s dedication and positive energy made the whole experience even more memorable.
The food was also delicious, and I really appreciated that my dietary requirements were fully accommodated throughout the tour. That level of care made me feel very valued as a guest.
Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Western Australia adventure.

It was hectic but whale sharks manta rays dolphins dugongs beautiful coral in beautiful clear blue waters at the same time being in the vast outback was simply amazing. Exceptional

Very good stays, with a fairly fast pace but magnificent landscapes and wild animals throughout the journey! (I have a slight preference for Monkey Mia with the dolphins by the beach at sunset, but Shell Beach is also beautiful!),
I recommend the excursions to Coral Bay with the manta rays and/or Exmouth with the whale sharks; it is definitely something you will not regret!
The interventions by the guide Jeff are also very relevant and add a little extra to the trip.

Geoff was our guide and he was excellent. Very kind down to earth and organised. The people the guide and the weather on this particular week are what made it an amazing. The whale shark add on experience was a highlight and worth the money after travelling so far! Only down side is it is a lot of driving/time sitting in the bus for the week but other than that would 100% recommend for anyone wanting to explore the West Coast in a group.

Trip of several hours with various stops. A park to see Koala and kangaroos in the wild, the Pinnacle Desert (main destination), a simple but discreet dinner (with the possibility to upgrade and eat lobster), and a stop to admire the starry sky with in-depth astronomical explanations. All accompanied by a very experienced guide who accompanied us throughout the time (including bus travel), with explanations on each topic. Really a serious organization and very well done. Highly recommended!

I loved every moment of the day tour to the Pinnacles. The morning stop for a scone and lavender tea was refreshing, and I got some lovely photos by the purple tractor at the lavender farm. Amanda was a great host, playing music from every era to suit everyone, and she was friendly and full of knowledge about WA history, with the Pinnacles themselves being a wonderful spot for photos.
“Worth visiting”
Our guide Amanda was super friendly and very knowledgeable, a solid five out of five. A bus with more leg room would have suited me better as I was recovering from a knee injury and felt the bumps, but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The free lavender scones, the amazing Pinnacles and the stromatolites at Lake Thetis were all highlights, and the Lobster Shack had a lovely setting, though I felt the seafood meal was a little pricey for what it was.
A lovely, well-organised tour with our two guides Annalies and Alicia, full of interesting information and a wonderful view of the Milky Way at the Pinnacles.

It was a great guided tour, and our guide (Fred) was very knowledgeable and engaging in his explanations. The picnic buffet was plenty and varied. We had bad luck with the clouds blocking the best of the sunset and stargazing, but the guides made the best out of the situation.

My wife and I joined a Pinnacles tour. Photos hadn't done it justice - the coastline stops, the vast Pinnacles landscape and the starry sky were overwhelming. The guide's hospitality touched us, and the afternoon start left the morning free for Fremantle.

A great tour with an enthusiastic guide, Elly, who shared loads of useful information from the moment we boarded the bus to the moment we left the Pinnacles Desert. Everything was well organised, and the Pinnacles and stargazing were amazing.
The beauty of Moore River and the champagne dinner in the Pinnacles Desert were incredible. Afterwards our guide explained the constellations in detail — the two Southern Crosses, the saucepan-shaped pattern near Orion, and a galaxy close to the Milky Way. We could even clearly see satellites moving across the sky. A truly memorable experience, thank you.

Great tour of Western Australia - the Pinnacles trip was interesting, educational and unforgettable. Caspar did it all: driving, guiding, providing dinner, and sharing Aboriginal culture stories, while keeping everyone safe. A lovely outing with three stops at different scenic spots. It was a bit confusing when the buses moved on from the first stop and I wasn't sure where to meet up again. The desert walk was interesting to see for the first time, though I found it a little unsettling doing it alone as the sun went down and everything looked the same. Dinner was fine, and the stargazing and constellation explanations were interesting. The drive back was long, dropping us where we'd been picked up. Overall a great day out.

This tour exceeded our expectations — we thought it would just be a long bus ride to the Pinnacles, but Adam, our guide and driver, gave a running commentary packed with information the whole way. We made about three scenic stops, including a short walk where Adam pointed out native plants. The Pinnacles Desert was amazing to see in person, and the buffet meal afterwards, complete with sparkling wine, was a lovely spread.

The white sand dunes and the fascinating Pinnacles formations were amazing, and it's a peaceful, tranquil place to watch the sunset (go when the moon is less full for better stars). Our driver Elly was fun, friendly and informative, and the barbecue under the stars with telescope viewing rounded off a great trip, with plenty of food for all diets.

Kasper was our guide and was very knowledgeable about Australia, its plants, animals, stars and folklore, as well as an excellent, safe driver. The stops and picnic set-up were excellent, and I'd recommend it for anyone who loves the stars.

A very educational trip, with the guides wearing many hats as drivers, dinner hosts and teachers of history, geography and astronomy. Beth and Casper were both lovely and knowledgeable, looking after us well, pointing out where to get water and snacks, and making sure no one got lost. It's impressive how the two of them managed two busloads of tourists, and they gave us a lovely Christmas Eve.

What a fantastic tour. The Pinnacles turned wonderfully eerie as the sun went down, and the other stops at Guilderton and Nilgen beaches were amazing too, with such soft sand. Our guide, driver and stargazing expert Erin was an absolute legend, funny and knowledgeable and brilliant at laying out our food under the stars, and the trip wouldn't have been the same without her.

We arrived about an hour before sunset, enjoyed a great dinner spread, and Erin even pointed out a good astrophotography spot, though we wished for more time under the dark sky.

Geoff is incredibly kind and informative, he shared a lot of personal stories and recommendation on things to do in Perth along the way to the national park. Caspar was fantastic. He’s not been in Australia for long but his knowledge rivals locals, and he has such respect for indigenous culture and history, and is a great driver. We highly recommend him. Its a well paced tour. The tour would be even better if there was someone to do logistics and set up dinner so Caspar could focus on guiding. Dinner was underwhelming (both the Woolies deli food and the setup) and could be greatly improved for a similar small cost.

Adam our driver/tour guide was fabulous, great driver felt very safe. Could have skipped the first 2 stops, 1st one Guilderton, lookout was a long walk uphill from the carpark, ok if fit. Rest was a stained river, with dirty toilets and a gritty store/cafe. 2nd Nilgen Nature Reserve, not in Wildflower season, so just a small track with burnt out bushes, needed binoculars if you wanted to see any sand. 3rd stop Hangover Bay was scenic. Pinnacles were amazing, worth the trip, lovely sunset. Adam set out a nice picnic with bubbles near the Carpark, telescope there too, we were expecting to see the night sky at the actual Pinnacles, saw a few stars (very clear night) but nothing like the photos. Not sure it was a small group though, big bus was full, seats were so close together, no leg room, very cramped for the long journey.
Casper guided our trip to the Pinnacles, explaining the local wildlife and flora at each stop and pointing us to the best route once we arrived. Dinner and drinks were plentiful, and even though the sky was overcast, Casper still gave a great rundown of the night sky. Nothing felt rushed — a lovely evening with a knowledgeable guide.
Casper was a great guide on our tour — we saw a beautiful sunset followed by an amazing view of the star-filled sky, and he was really knowledgeable throughout.

This was a highlight of our Perth trip - great value for a long, worthwhile day. Our guide Erin was fantastic, keeping things engaging from the sand dune and coastline stops through to stargazing. Our guide Adam was punctual, informative and intelligent, and managing a coachload of strangers single-handed all day can't be easy. The excursion was enjoyable, with the atmospheric Pinnacles in the fading light the clear highlight, though the earlier stops felt a little squeezed in, with some being brief whistle-stops and only 40 minutes at Guilderton. The buffet was adequate if unremarkable, and the stargazing afterwards, complete with a distant lightning storm, was memorable. Worthwhile and good value with an excellent guide, though a slightly better buffet and fine-tuned itinerary would improve it.

Casper made this experience really interesting. He is obviously passionate about star gazing. The pinnacles are also so unique, combined with the sunset makes a lovely setting. Our day was quite cloudy. But worth a trip to view the rock formations and hear mythical stories along the way.
A wonderful day. Erin was a great guide who looked after us well. My only issue was the late finish, which I knew about when booking, so an hour earlier would have made it more comfortable for me.

Pinnacle's dessert at sunset was amazing. Picnic under the incomparable starry sky that Geoff set out was very nice. During the comfortable bus ride there, he spoke well about nature and the history of the indigenous people.
We made some stops on the way up that were nice but that maybe didn’t fully live up to expectations based on the trip description both on what we got to see and the time allocated to it.

Visiting the Pinnacles is well worth it - far more impressive that expected. Went with Casper who was a very obliging driver/host. His interest in the stars and aboriginal knowledge gained of the stars was very evident at the end of the day.

We did the Pinnacles and stargazing tour and loved every part of it — the various stops, the national park walk, the pinnacles themselves, and finally the stargazing. Guide Kasper shared lots about the local flora and fauna plus the constellations, which made it even more memorable.
The Pinnacles are a must when you're in Perth — beautiful with an almost surreal feel, especially when the sun turns everything golden. Stargazing there is great too, thanks to the lack of light pollution.

We had a great guide and driver in Beth on our Pinnacles day trip. The lavender scones at the Yanchep lavender farm were delicious, and the lobster at the Lobster Shack in Cervantes was the freshest ever and the best lunch of our Perth holiday. Seeing the Pinnacles in daylight was awesome despite the many flies, and the stromatolites at Lake Thetis were worth a look. Overall a great day out, with a comfortable coach with USB charging, and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Surely the Casper guide increases the rating, if he had not been there I probably would have put a lower engagement. Casper is a super, nice and knowledgeable guide. Places are worth a visit, but the price is excessive. Particularly negative note the dinner. It is not good, I did not expect otherwise, but you can do better, offering e.g. hot drinks given the cold weather.
We had a lovely tour of the Pinnacles with Casper as both our guide and driver. He's incredibly knowledgeable about history, nature and astrology, and taught us a lot about the stars - a tour to remember.

“Quality tour that delivers”
I spent a week in Perth and booked several tours, and this was by far my favourite. It rained all day but the guides made it work with sound advice on seeing the sites, and pick-up and drop-off were seamless, with everything in the write-up delivered. I'm not a big lobster fan but it didn't matter, as the seafood chowder was exceptional and the steak sandwich looked impressive. My only "fault" was that the chocolate samples were almost too generous, which is hardly a complaint.

The Autopia Pinnacles Sunset Stargazing Dinner Experience was fantastic! It was a well organised tour that allowed us to get out of the city and see some of WA's beautiful landscapes and coastline.
While the drive to the Pinnacles was long, there were plenty of stops to see the coast, view points, sand dunes and to grab a snack which also provided a chance to stretch your legs.
The pinnacles and stargazing were definitely the highlights as was the picnic dinner under the night sky. There was plenty to eat and drink and the stars were so much brighter and clearer than you ever get to see in the city.
We had a fantastic guide, which made the trip even more special. She was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and wonderfully entertaining. You could really feel her passion for her job.

It was all in all a good afternoon and evening spent. Decent group size - not too big. The breaks were just nice and views are awesome. Although, do check whether or not there will be a full moon during your tour as that does spoil the view of the milky way and the suns.

Beth, our guide on the Pinnacles stargazing sunset tour, was very knowledgeable about Aboriginal culture, the Pinnacles and the constellations -- we got to see Jupiter, Mars, the Milky Way and Orion's Belt. The picnic could have used fresher produce, but overall it was a terrific tour.

The tour itself was great. If it matters to you that it’s a small group, be aware this minibus has 40+ people crammed onboard. But it was lovely to get to see this spectacular scenery in such lovely weather conditions, and the food was great too.

This was an amazing experience. A long day but so worth it. Erin was just terrific. So knowledgeable, helpful and very capable. Being a tour guide is clearly her passion. The stops along the way are beautiful and well timed. The Pinnacles themselves are an incredible sight. After a walk amongst them and over to the lookout we enjoyed a dinner of fresh rolls, meat and salads and a glass of bubbly! Then came the stargazing. We were lucky enough to have a clear night and Erin’s knowledge of the constellations was excellent. Then the long drive home where Erin’s driving skills were tested by a wayward kangaroo! Absolutely fabulous day and would highly recommend.

An interesting day out, visiting Yanchep National Park and getting up close to the koalas, before finishing with the Pinnacles, which are an amazing phenomenon. Our driver was fantastic, with great commentary, and it was a great day out even though it was very long.

Was a great tour. And our guide had really interesting info on the locations and also on the stars and planets. And the sunset over the pinnacles was to die for.
We really enjoyed the Pinnacles tour. There was some confusion over pick-up location from conflicting emails, but a quick morning call sorted it out. The minibus suited us well since there were just the two of us, and the air conditioning worked fine. Our guide Douglas on the Perth tour was fantastic, funny and experienced, clearly loves the job, and kept us right on schedule throughout — he made the day extra special.
Erin, our guide, was amazing despite a basic, cramped minibus — frequent stops made up for it. She kept us informed throughout and gave interesting commentary on European and Aboriginal history. We loved the Pinnacles and the prosecco picnic dinner, though thick cloud ruined the stargazing even at Erin's backup site — clearly not her fault, and she apologised regardless. Still highly recommend, especially with Erin as your guide.

I booked this tour as a Christmas present for my immediate family. There were 10 of us in total with ages ranging from 74 to 9.
Claire was amazing from the time I enquired about the tour continuing through to the days following the tour. She was so helpful and was very accommodating to our needs.
Our tour started on Saturday the 28th of December 2024 when we were picked up at
my home at 1.45 and headed on our adventure.
Gavin our driver and tour guide was a very experienced driver and guide. His commentary was very informative, and even though we live in Western Australia, he was able to give us some facts that were new to us.

This activity was great! Driver was very nice and friendly and he gave us very interesting explanations about places and things to visit while here in Perth. Pinnacles desert is wonderful and we had enough time to walk around and visit it. A wonderful afternoon and evening visiting the Pinnacles, with a few stops along the way. Our guide Rick was super helpful and knowledgeable, sharing plenty of stories about each place we stopped. A lovely dinner was provided before some star and planet gazing - some of us were even lucky enough to see a shooting star. Highly recommend.

“Wonderful stromatolites and pinnacles tour”
Our guide and driver Summer was excellent, so knowledgeable about all the sites and about Indigenous culture and stories, which made the trip memorable. This was the only tour I could find that visits the stromatolites at Lake Thetis, which I'd wanted to see for years, so thank you for that, and of course the Pinnacles are amazing too. Huge thanks to Summer and Autopia for a great tour.
“A Pinnacle Experience”
The tour was well paced with enough stops to rest and explore. We enjoyed the chocolates at Yanchep, saw kangaroos at the sanctuary, explored Lake Thetis and had amazing food at the Lobster Shack, before the Pinnacles rounded it off as a sight to behold. Our guide Summer was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about Perth's history, explaining the region's Aboriginal stories with real care. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend.
“Worth the trip”
Really worth a trip to see the Pinnacles. Our guide Danny was lovely, sharing lots of interesting information and preparing a tasty supper, generous and informative throughout. The landscape is amazing, almost lunar, and we were given free time to roam and soak up the atmosphere. It was a fairly long journey out with several stops, but well worth it and quicker on the way back. Thank you, Danny, for an enjoyable evening and for driving us safely.
Took the Pinnacles Desert tour from Perth and the service was outstanding. Our guide Elly was very helpful and knew a lot about the stars. Dinner was beautifully prepared, and despite poor weather we still caught a decent sunset and clear night sky. Great job, Autopia.
No complaints at all - Rick was a terrific, knowledgeable guide. The Pinnacles Desert was awesome, the coastal side trips were fabulous, and dinner under the stars followed by telescope stargazing was magical. Temperature drops fast after sunset so bring a warm jacket. A marvellous day all round.

Summer guided our Pinnacles Sunset Stargazing tour with dinner. The weather wasn't ideal, but she more than made up for it with enthusiastic commentary and a well-presented meal. We really enjoyed the experience.

The views were amazing. Walking around the pinnacles while the sun was setting was gorgeous. Definitely needed a jumper and a woolly hat as the temperature dropped after the sun went down. We had a clear sky and so we got to see several constellations and even saw Venus and Saturn through the telescope.

The Pinnacles is a fantastic site, seen later in the afternoon was perfect for a walk and photography. The cold picnic dinner provided was good, plenty to eat, it’s a remote sight, there are no bbq’s. Danny did a great job, setting up the meal and ensuring we all had drinks & enough to eat.
We thoroughly enjoyed the day with great company.

The Pinnacles were the highlight for me, an amazing place where I'd have liked more time, and the Lobster Shack was a beautiful spot for lunch with a great food and drink selection and stunning views. Our guide Andrea was lovely, informative and patient. The only negatives were that the lavender farm wasn't open and the bus could do with an update.
My friend and I did the Pinnacles Sunset Stargazing Tour and really enjoyed how much time we got to just take in the scenery. A special mention for our guide Emma, who made the experience so pleasant and gave great insight into the places we visited.

My husband and I did the Pinnacles Stargazing tour and our guide Emma was brilliant. We stopped at a few beaches on the way from Perth, letting me finally dip my toes in the Indian Ocean, something I'd wanted to do for years. Emma was really knowledgeable about the stars and shared some Indigenous stories too.
Erin was a fantastic guide — well versed in Perth's history, adding her own flair with strong knowledge of astronomy and local myths and legends. Great service and safe driving.

An amazing part of our beautiful country, an absolute must see when in WA. The sky at night is amazing! It is a long journey there and back to Perth, and would have been much more comfortable in a more appropriate bus. Whilst Barry the bus is cute, it is an incredibly small seating space, quite claustrophobic, with no leg room and nowhere for backpacks etc except for your lap Summer was a delight, a very knowledgeable tour guide and lots of fun. Gus was very friendly and gave us lots of advice nformation, dinner had a great selection. Our 12 year old grandaughter loved it. The night was cld and the sky was clear, so we saw plenty of stars.

It was nice and our tour guide (Sana) were very good, but even though you tell about your diets/allergies it doesn’t help. They have standard menu on the dinner.
Really enjoyed the tour to the Pinnacles Desert, Lancelin Beach and Wedge Island, with star and moon gazing included. Guide Sanna Rekke was excellent, knowledgeable and very welcoming.
Joined the Pinnacles Desert tour, midday hotel pickup with coastal stops, about 200km from Perth though the drive flew by. Pack water, warm layers and a small torch.
Sanne is a lovely guide who made us feel right at home and ensured we got the full experience. The skies were cloudy at first, but she offered to give us the stargazing explanation anyway, then happily repeated everything once they cleared, weaving in Aboriginal stories and her own knowledge from living in the Netherlands.
Took the Pinnacles tour with the star gazing experience. It was very good, with the Pinnacles themselves amazing, and guide Guz was very good and knowledgeable.

This is very different, it's difficult to see Just what the Pinnacles are made of. So different. It's a site to see. Also don't forget the fly spray. We saw a lot of Australian salutes (fly swatting).

Day trip to the Pinnacles Desert was a fantastic experience. Had a couple of stops at Lancelin and the Wedge Lookout to stretch our legs, but the highlight was no doubt the stunning landscape and sunset at the Pinnacles Desert.
We had a casual picnic with plenty of food and snacks, and the cloud stayed away long enough for us to do some stargazing (though the telescope did not get much effective use!)
Danny was a great host, very knowledgeable of the region and its cultural history, whilst keeping us entertained with his humor.

Pinnacles were beautiful sunset was lovely stars were nice. Dinner was lovely, tour guide was very informative, but it would have been nice to drive in the pinnacles and have dinner watching the sunset at a vantage point which we saw other tours doing- bus was really uncomfortable
“Definitely worth visiting”
We booked the ½ day Pinnacles Stargazing Tour with Wildlife Tours Australia (same company as Autopia but price was less- they merged during pandemic). We only wanted the half day tour which left midday, and we stopped along the way in Lancelin (very small town) to the lookout and stretch our legs, Hangover Bay (lovely looking beach) and Nilgen lookout. The bus was full with about 25 people (my husband felt his legs were cramped as he was very tall but I was fine)
We then headed to Nambung National Park to see the Pinnacles. Wow - these limestone structures for as far as the eye can see. Somewhat eerie but beautiful. Our tour was only to walk around - there is a path (there is a car road but we did not drive) so everyone disbursed. It was windy so with sand blowing we tried to focus on having the wind at our backs, then headed to the deck to watch sunset.
Our tour guide Denny was great. Meanwhile he was setting up the picnic dinner for us - very upscale picnic with cheese and crackers, strawberries, then nice salads and meat choices. He had Prosecco and juice (no water, so best to bring your own).
Once it was dark, he gave us a stargazing tour - wow, wow and wow. It was a clear night and there were so many stars. It is pitch black so you could really see the stars. We brought flashlights (although cell phones do have that capability). We saw the Southern Cross, Jupiter, the Milky Way and so many more.

My wife and I started the tour with a slight hiccup, a couple who hadn't read the emails properly made us start late, but Erin and Summer, our tour advisors, took it in their stride. Erin started the tour with great information about Perth and continued it for most of the journey to the Pinnacles. On arrival, she gave us a great explanation for the Pinnacles and later really good information on the night sky and then showed us Jupiter through her telescope. The camaraderie shown by Erin and Summer to all of us on the tour was excellent, and the evening meal they organised was well laid out and enjoyable. I think I can say that all of us appreciated the care they took in looking after us. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in a good day out from Perth, definitely 5 stars....

The tour was delightful from beginning to end, we were 15 individuals in a charming yet practical minibus (maybe the addition of headrests could enhance comfort during the journey). Our guide and driver, Sue, was exceptionally well-versed in the region’s natural history, sharing captivating tales of the area’s historical events. The mid-journey break was much appreciated, allowing us to savour watermelon, stretch, and take in the surrounding vistas. It was a wise decision to take us on preliminary bus tour of the Pinnacles, which gave us ample opportunity to capture photos and marvel at the stunning natural formations. The dinner was satisfying, offering a wide selection of dishes, though dining with a bit more daylight might have enhanced the experience. The stargazing segment was truly remarkable, thanks to the fortuitous absence of clouds. This is an experience I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in Perth!

The tutor guide we had was very accommodating and gave us an excellent commentary. Dinner was not worth staying to have a picnic under the stars as seating on mats was unvomfortable due to age and knee problems.

Her gift for storytelling and dry wit made the 2 hour journey in our air conditioned minibus very enjoyable with stops along the way, including the lovely Lancelin. The pinnacles national park was awe inspiring, expecially once I understood the history of how it was formed, thanks again to Sue. I enjoyed the sunset tour of the Pinnacles very much. It was amazing to see as the sun goes down. Erin our guide/driver produced a lovely dinner which we had as the last of the sunset disappeared and the stars came out.

From the efficient pick up and informative and fun narrative from Sue the 2 hour trip to the Pinnacles flew by. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived…. To leaving having seen an amazing landscape and sunset this trip is worth the effort. Our guide Sue was great fun and it was so nice to see someone so passionate about their job. This trip was one of the best my wife and I have experienced ever. Everything about it from booking arrangement to drop-off back at hotel was first-class. Our driver and tour guide Sue possesses a fantastic depth of knowledge about local history, flora and fauna and the celestial night sky and kept us all entertained throughout the entire trip. Watching the sun set in a clear sky from the Pinnacles with a glass of fizz followed by views of the Milky Way and stars in the night sky with no light pollution is simply breathtaking. An absolutely brilliant trip with Sue as the undoubted ‘star’.

My family and I went on the Pinnacles Sunset and Stargazing tour at the start of September and it was by far our favourite highlight of our trip.
We had Carlos as our guide and he was fantastic. Very knowledgable with his history. He was entertaining throughout the journey. He was on time with the pick-ups and everything went according to schedule.
When we got to the pinnacles, it was a sight to behold. Hundreds of them spaced away from each other in variant distances and with many different size and shapes.

The Pinnacles tour is really awesome as the breathtaking landscape with those amazing geological formations are so amazing to see. The tour was made most memorable because we have a very good driver cum guide who was very friendly and helpful. He ensures that everyone is well taken care of. I must say he is a true professional who does his job so well. A real asset to the company.
“Pinnacles Day Trip”
Our trip started with a minor hiccup as I had to change the pick up point wirh the Admin , BUT thanks to Carlos had the initiative to call us and the new pick up point closer to our accommodation was arranged shortly after the arranged time at 1200hrs.
The overall experience was great , calling into Lancelin,Nilgen Nature Reserve, and then on to the Pinnacles at 1400hrs.
The time spent there was amazing and interesting learning how the accepted theory of how this particular area was formed over the 1000's of years.
Finally , after 1800hrs, Carlos had our dinner ready then onto the star gazing through the powerful telescope that had front row seat on the way up.
Trip concluded at 1030hrs back at the Adina.

“Solid Experience”
Our guide was professional and knowledgeable. She drove safely and was a good host. During the stargazing portion of our trip, she shared some great tips on how to find constellations and told us some aboriginal stories about them.
The stars were some of the best I've seen. if you're lucky enough to schedule this for a clear night you're in for a treat. Bring water with you or make sure to fill up in Lancelin. There isn't potable water in the park and you get there after the gift shop closes. Make sure to bring a warm layer if going in the winter. It gets cold quickly when the sun goes down.

Friends recommended the tour to us and we were thrilled to be able to see and experience it all. Jeff was a great guide who told us about the history of the Aborigines, about his life and took us to great places. Unfortunately it was not the right time of year to see the wildflowers, but we had more time to look around the Pinnacles. Warm clothes are a must, as it gets quite cold once the sun goes down. The tour is more than worth a recommendation, we would do it again any time. As we come from Germany, this was a unique experience.

Total amazing experience. Geoff was a great guide. Communication with booking staff was out standing. Nice small groups makes for a better experience, just do it.
“Small sized, low effort adventure with amazing natural beauty at”
Favourite part was the destination itself. I had no idea this lunar landscape existed. As you drive into the area you are truly amazed by these ancient rock formations. You are free to roam through the rocks, and it’s not all closed in, so there’s plenty of space to experience The Pinnacles at your own pace.
It is a couple of hours out of Perth, but our guide Laura provided good narrative when needed, and broke up the trip with a stop at a lookout on the way, toilet stop for those who needed one, and provided Aussie snacks in addition to the evening meal.
The sunset was marred a bit by cloud, and the near full moon may have detracted from the star gazing a bit, but enabled us to see trip hazards . Laura Holmes was a very friendly guide, and ensured she got to know each tourist and a bit about their lives. She was genuinely interested in her clients, and is both experienced and knowledgeable in her tour destinations.

Our guide "Geoff" was informative, very well educated, knowledgable and shared local information on all aspects of the trip from Perth.
Geoff was caring and kept us all engaged in the tour, for the long drive.
At the late evening he set up a wonderful dinner and it was clean and n a lovely area.
I would reccomend any person to travel with geoff on the Pinnacle tour, you will not be bored.

Mr Jeff was super friendly, he made us feel comfortable throughout the entire trip despite the differences in our race and religion (muslim). Although it was a long journey, he made sure we all had the best of time. He even made sure we saw our first kangaroos in Australia! Overall, so worth it :)

I must say that this was one of the best tours i had in 8 months of traveling Australia. Sue, our Tourguide was wonderful. She gave us lots of interesting information about the pinnacles formation and history and told us some really nice aboriginal stories. The nature was stunning and we were lucky to see a clear night sky. The dinner and champagne was also really nice. I would recommend the tour to anyone.

It was such a wonderful and unforgettable experience made even better by our tour guide Misty. Her knowledge of where we travelled made it hard to believe this was her first time taking a group to the Pinnacles. Her ability to help.us connect to the places we visited was amazing and the time flew by, as did the dad jokes
“Sunsets and stars”
This lived up to our expectations and more.
We were so lucky with the weather. Cloudy leaving Perth but by the tome we got to Lancelin the sun was shining and it was a lovely afternoon.
The meal we had provided was sumptuous and a glass or two of bubbles while watching the sunset capped off the trip. Once all dark the stars came out to entertain us, and brilliant they were.

Dinner is a light salad so have a good breakfast. There are a couple of stops enroute but not many that access a shop.

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Having a small group made such a difference. Our guide/driver, Laura, was excellent in that she provided knowledgeable commentary throughout the day but knew when to step back and leave us to our own devices. The ‘dinner’ was more of a picnic but very enjoyable consisting of cheese platter, cold meats and salads. Champagne was also provided. The stars were phenomenal. Would certainly recommend this excursion.

Amazing journey with astonishing views of the ocean, desert, pinnacles, sunset and stary night. Our tour leader and driver was Duffy who provided useful information throughout the tour.
“Not just Pinnacles”
Amazing experience highly recommend and would do this again. First stop a bakery with a toilet break then to the sand dunes for a little boarding. Next stop Hangover Bay for some educational plant life tour and a walk on the beach. Last stop the Pinnacles National Park to watch the sunset, dinner and lots of stargazing. Very friendly and informative tour guides and amazing things to see.
“Full Day”
It was a full day tour with a lot of time sitting in the van. Great to get overview of the places to visit in WA and to come back at a later date. The sunset and star gazing is obviously weather dependent but beautiful nevertheless. Recommend to bring some snacks and lunch as we did the additional crystal cave part and did not have time for lunch. Highlight of the tour was obviously the Pinnacles at the end of the day.

We had a great time on this trip! Really feels like the long drive is worth it because of the stops along the way! We had “Steve L” as our guide today and he was FAB.
Itinerary is really well thought out and flexible according to the weather and the group.
Dinner was good! Only thing that could be added would be pudding! Fruit was nice but chocolate cake was mentioned and that would go down well on the way home!
Overall a great day and would highly recommend.

“Nice trip”
Went for the evening Pinnacle trip with Autopia. Trip was in a small group of 12 and our driver/guide - Mark was truly remarkable.
Yanchep National Park is truly serene and beautiful, with Koalas n Kangaroos roaming freely.
We were glad we joined the optional crystal cave tour. Even though not as huge as some caves, the formations of the stalactites n stalagmites at this crystal caves were much more natural and bewildering.
The Pinnacles at dusk were simply mesmerizing, with the Pinnicles scattered allover the golden sand.
And after a delicious picnic dinner, we drove back down the Pinnacles. At night, you can see the Milky Way with a million stars, mindblowing.
Overall, a very well-arranged n wonderful trip! Cheers.

Yanchep National Park is a pretty place, Was very green with blue lakes. There was a short boardwalk to see koalas. Kangaroos are roaming free. The optional crystal cave tour is interesting and informative. Hangover Bay is a short pretty stop to take in the peaceful scenery. The individual pinnacles are not as large as some people expect but the massive quantity and different shapes makes an incredible landscape. Changing colours are nice before sunset. The Pinnacles lookout is a great place to visit and watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean. The picnic lunch was very nicely prepared and delicious. The stars were amazing and our guide Paul was great at pointing out individual stars and constellations.

Nice tour around the national parks, we saw a unique place and different wildlife animals. We also got a very good tour guide.
“An excellent tour”
I'm so glad I booked this tour. I wanted to see the Pinnacles and tried to book something from Cervantes but there was nothing unless I had a car, so opted to stay in Perth an extra couple of days and booked it from here. Pete, the tour guide, was great, patient, funny, safe and generally fab from the moment he picked us up to the moment he set us down.
We stopped at Yanchep National Park and had the option of visiting Crystal Caves which I highly recommend, then headed to the Pinnacles, then watched the sunset over the Indian Ocean. On our was back to Perth stopped and Pete talked us through a lot of the stars. It was incredible. I cannot recommend this enough
“A long day with lots of driving, but worth it!!”
This had to be the most interesting adventure of our whole trip. It started out with an on-time pick-up by Mick near our hotel where we met our small and very diverse group of 10 other adventurers in a small older, but comfortable van. Once everyone was loaded up and ready to go we departed for our first stop, Yanchep National Park. Now at this point I am going to stop for a second and say a few things about our tour guide, Mick. You talk about an Outback Aussie straight out of central casting! He is so laid back and carefree at first I was wondering if he was just putting on a show for the tourists. But after a while of talking with him it is really just who he is. From the untucked shirt to the Kangaroo skin hat to his dislike of wearing shoes, he is the real deal. Mick was very personable, knowledgeable, and seemed to know someone wherever we went. With Mick, what you see is what you get. He is very bold, outspoken, and his humor and language can be a little off color, but that really is part of his charm. I would rather have a real person than someone who is pretending to be who they are not! But back to the trip. Yanchep National Park was a nice stop. You are pretty much on your own there but with just a little initiative you can see wild kangaroos and other wildlife in the park. The Koalas are in an enclosure but you are able to walk right under the trees where they are napping for a good look and pictures. We also did the Crystal Cave which was extra, but worth it. After the cave tour it was back into the van for our trip to Hangover Beach near the Pinnacles park. It was very windy that day which, as we approached the ocean, started rocking the van as we went down the highway. I could tell the rocking was making some of the other passengers nervous but there is something to be said about rolling down the highway at 80 KPH, munching on the provided snacks of chips and apples, listening to Mick sing along with his very eclectic music playlist, and watching the confusion on the Japanese tourists faces as he asks them to "Send them crisps up this way mate!" It was a blast!
Hangover beach was OK, nothing amazing. We wound up spending about an hour there before we moved on the the Pinnacles. We got there about 3 hours before sunset so there was plenty of time to explore on our own. Mick did give a little talk about the park, and then sent us on our way with instructions to meet back up for dinner at a specific time. The amount of time we had to explore was just about perfect. A couple of items to be aware of, it is VERY windy there pretty much constantly and it gets cold very quickly! Dress appropriately and bring a jacket! After our exploration time was done everyone met back up at the picnic area in the middle of the park for a dinner of cold rotisserie chicken, potato salad, and a few other sides along with coffee or tea. Dinner was spartan but filling and tasty, and considering the location more than adequate. After dinner was done and everything was put up most of us just stayed around the central area waiting for the sunset. I found it fascinating that you could see the Pinnacles, sand dunes, forest, and the Indian Ocean all from one small area. The sunset was beautiful that evening and we stayed until it was almost completely dark which allowed a gorgeous view of the night sky from the park. Once again I must emphasis about the constant wind and the chill! Be prepared! After Mick got everyone loaded up we started the long journey back to Perth with a short stop on the way in an especially dark area where you can really see the starts and the Milky Way. The view was awe inspiring! At this point everyone was pretty tired and quiet except for Mick! I swear he is like the Energizer Bunny! Once we got back to Perth we were dropped off at the same location we were picked up for the short walk back to our hotel.
So to sum up, It is a long day with LOTS of driving and you will be tired by the end of it. Yanchep National Park is interesting but you need to get off the paths to see some of the wildlife, but that is OK. Koalas are cute but sleepy, the kangaroos will let you get close to them, but be respectful. The Crystal Cave was worth the extra money. Hangover beach was Meh, but there is something to be said about being able to stick your toes in the Indian Ocean. The Pinnacles were beautiful but dress appropriately and be ready for constant wind. Dont expect a gourmet meal there but it is more than adequate and you cannot beat the view! The sunset and the stars are beautiful. If you are wanting a pampered luxury tour, this isn't it. But if you are up for an adventure with a very colorful tour guide (if you have Mick) then this is it
“Small group pinnacles tour”
Tour was everything I expected. Our guide Mick (Dundee :), a real outdoorsman, was friendly and very interesting to talk to with his knowledge of wildlife and nature..
I went to the crystal caves in the first part of the trip and that was a highlight for me, and desert hiking at the Pinnacles was a good experience.
On the drive back, Mick provided us with the opportunity for additional star gazing when the night sky was at it's brightest.
A worthwhile trip to go on if you're interested in seeing more of the nature just outside of Perth.
The only suggestion I'd offer is to trade-off some time (say an hour) at the Pinnacles during the day for more time at the Yanchup national park. Having done the cave tour, I would have liked a bit of time to explore the national park.
“Short but great”
